Thankful for the Harvest
Have you ever noticed how often God uses the language of planting seeds and harvesting to describe our spiritual lives? Throughout the Bible, the Good News of God is compared to a seed that is planted and watered. After enough time has passed, that seed turns into a fully grown plant, which produces a wonderful harvest.
We often want to rush to the harvest, but we need to remember that ever plant starts with a seed in some dirt. Some seasons of life are seasons of planting, and through faith we can thank God for the harvest that is to come even when all we see is a bunch of dirt.
In this message, Bryan shares some passages of Scripture that point us to this important truth: God is always planting, always watering, and always bringing about his good plan.
