Isaiah 53 (part 1)

One of the most important passages in the Bible about Jesus and the cross actually comes from the Old Testament! Isaiah 53 is a messianic prophecy that told Israel what would happen to their "suffering servant." These predictions about the Messiah were written 500 years before Jesus was born, and came true when Jesus went to the cross. This study talks about the first half of the chapter, and the next session will cover the second half.
