In 2012, several Churches of Christ in Donetsk, Ukraine came together and formed a Let’s Love Ministry; a charity with the purpose of meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs the orphans in the Donbas Region of Ukraine. With the recent outbreak of war in the area, over a million people have been displaced from this region. Many of those members of the church.
We are proud to report that through the grace of God and your continued generosity, Let’s Love Ministry has been able to build several humanitarian centers to dispense food and clothing and youth clubs to help children through the trauma of the war. Truly, the church is being salt and light to this part of the world.
While the original mission of Let’s Love was to care for orphans, their work has been expanded to those who have been deeply affected by the ongoing war. Westside Church of Christ, along with many other congregations, help support the feeding, clothing and housing of orphans in this part of the world. New churches are being established throughout Ukraine as we love and care for our brothers and sisters.
Thank you for your continued prayers and generosity. We pray that you will continue praying and supporting the work in Ukraine.

Lately there have been several baptisms in the congregations which are co-working with us at God’s vineyard. Marina accepted the Gospel in the city of Zaporozhye. Yana became a Christian at the young congregation in the city of Rovno.
Marina came from the city of Donetsk with her daughter Liliya. Yura Taran (the local preacher) has been sharing Jesus with her multiple times. Together with her daughter they have been attending the church, but something was holding her back from trusting her life to the Lord. Most likely, she and her daughter have been betrayed and wronged in their lives many times.
But when her landlady kicked her out of her flat to the street, Marina for the first time has experienced the care of the church. The brethren took a quick trip to that flat and helped to pack and move their belongings. They opened the church flat for them to stay until they would find a place for them to live. “I did not even know that people can help this much”, Marina was witnessing in tears. Soon enough Marina realized if the church is ready to help her this much, then just think how much the Lord will help her!
Dima Finds A House
Dima Yefimov from Odessa has two important days this month: the day he was born; and the day when Nana Smirnova’s family in Odessa adopted him. Our ministry helps Nana to cover some of her apartment’s costs, where she is staying and helping local orphanage graduates to get adjusted to life.
Falcons New Territorial Youth Club
Very soon we plan to start the second territorial youth club, named Falcons, outside of Kiev. Our team has been visiting with the students of the local school for the last 3 years on a weekly basis. They have been conducting classes about loving God, loving your family, loving your country. This year we are moving up to the second stage of our ministry, when within the club program, that is outside of their schools, we will have more opportunities to tell these children about God’s love and living a life by His commandments.
