A Message from Trey
My name is Trey Talley and I work with students in 7th through 12th grade and their families here at Westside. I'm glad that you're taking the time to check out the Youth section of our website. I hope that you find it helpful and that you can get a snapshot of who we are. Even more, I'd love to meet you face to face and introduce to you the incredible people who make up the Youth Ministry!

Trey's Philosophy
Our goal is to provide Bible classes and Bible studies that are relevant to the lives of teens and focus on issues foundational to faith in Jesus. Our programs strive to teach teens about the love God has for them and the life He is calling them into. We also discuss various topics that change from time to time based on the needs of the teens in the Youth Ministry.

Our desire is that students will engage in ministry rather than just watch it happen. We encourage service within the church body and not just the youth ministry. We also hope that they will then take this attitude of service and ministry into their schools, onto their sports teams or wherever else they have relationships. Through our programs, we share with students the character of heart needed for ministry and are given experiences to help them discover the skills that God has given them for the ministry He has prepared for them.
